Thirty-plus years of systems work — all of it, now, pointed at Zoho.
I've spent 30+ years building and fixing the systems small and mid-sized businesses run on — as analyst, project manager and developer, for manufacturers, service providers, agencies, and law firms. Zoho became the focus when its pricing and flexibility undercut custom application development. The instincts don't change from one system to the next: read what's actually there before you touch anything, and don't trust what anyone remembers building.
The first few times I asked a general AI model to write Deluge, it gave me confident, broken code — plausible syntax, wrong assumptions about how Zoho actually executes a function. Deluge is a proprietary language with real quirks, and there isn't much public material for a model to learn from. So I started writing down what it needed to know.
That became a set of structured context files. Then a library of scripts I'd already gotten right, so I wasn't solving the same problem twice for the next client. Years later, that's the Shop — the accumulated, correct context that makes AI a genuine partner on Zoho work, instead of a liability that happens to sound confident. Every engagement runs on it.
