These cases show what a Workbench finds that's scattered across the Zoho admin console one screen at a time — disabled logic, silent failures, broken automation chains, drift between intent and reality. Each was diagnosed from extracted function code, workflow definitions, field schemas, and Flow state — without live CRM access.
A deduplication function had its first-name comparison hardcoded to always pass — a temporary workaround from 2023 that was never reverted. Combined with shared office phone numbers, it merged records belonging to completely different people. The damage was invisible until a record was manually reviewed.
